All about the product

When stored in a cool and dry place, our products have a shelf life of about 18 months.
Since our products are single feed materials, there is no legal requirement for the date of minimum durability on the product. On our supplementary feeds such as our herbal-bites or ostrich sticks you will find the date of minimum durability.
In general, our goods have a shelf life of approx. 18 months after leaving the warehouse.
It is important that our product are stored in a cool and dry place. In the summer months it is recommended to freeze the product for 3 days at -20° sometimes. This changes neither the taste and appearance of the goods, but it prevents insects such as bacon beetles from developing in the goods.

Keep calm 🙂 Bugs in the goods are absolutely nothing bad and happen from time to time in the warm summer months. This is a sign of the absolute purity of the product, as we do not use any chemicals to keep the goods insecticide free. This doesn’t always look pretty and is definitely a nuisance, but you can prevent it by freezing the goods. Freezing causes the insects to die and they can be shaken out quite easily afterwards. We also recommend this freezing as a preventive measure, so that no unwelcome co-inhabitants settle in.

These are mostly minerals. This is nothing bad at all and absolutely harmless. Due to the slow and gentle drying process, the minerals that are naturally in the product are preserved, but can also sometimes emigrate and migrate to the outside. An infestation of mold would look quite different and can be recognized by the fact that greenish spores form.

This is as individual as the character of a dog 🙂 In fact, it is not possible to give a general feeding recommendation for our chews, because it always depends on how active your dog is, whether he has intolerances and e.g. does not tolerate so much fat, whether he is big or small, lanky or well fed…. And of course it depends on the product.

The order process

We are happy to offer our new customers a sales unit independent first order. This is also independent of the minimum order value. We would like to give you the opportunity to test our products easily and uncomplicated.
Cartons are shipped via DPD. Pallets are shipped via DHL Freight.

The shipping time within Germany is usually 1-3 business days. Please note that the shipping time during the high season around Christmas may be slightly longer. Please allow 1-2 more working days fro these times.

The shipping time within Europe varies depending on the country. Normally the shipping times here are 3-5 business days.

Of course. You will receive a tracking link as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Yes. However, this is linked to the size and scope of the order. Please contact us for this.
Our availability of goods is usually very good. 90% of our goods are permanently available.
We try to keep our list of not available products as short as possible. Nevertheless, it can happen from time to time that there is a shortage on the market and therefore we do not always get the raw material. As soon as an item is back in stock, you will see it as available again on our homepage. If you need larger quantities of a not available item, please contact us. We can then accept your order as a backorder and the goods will be shipped as soon as they are back in stock.
No, the images on our homepage are copyrighted and can not be reused without our consent.
However, we do offer our customers other product images (branded) that you can use on your website. If you are interested, please contact us.
Our texts can not simply be taken over, otherwise it is duplicate content and will be penalized by search engines. If you want to use our texts, please put a link to the source at the end of the text. So it is obvious who is the author.

All returns and / or deliveries go directly to our warehouse in Horlecke 36-38 in 58706 Menden / Sauerland. Please note the opening hours from 8.00 – 14.00.

In general, we do not provide non-binding sales prices (RRPs), as the sales price always depends on the region, the customer base and the calculation method (e.g. mixed calculation). However, if you need guideline values, please feel free to contact us and we will give you appropriate tips.

First of all, you need an active EORI number to be able to register as a retailer with us. Furthermore, we only ship to UK with a minimum order value of 2000€ (1/2 pallet or 1 pallet). If you place an order with us, the importer (you) has to complete an extra registration (POAO = Products of Animal Origin). In order to ship to the UK, we need your Import Notification Number (IMP.GB.2022. xxxxx), which you will receive when you register for POAO.

For end customers

No, we sell our goods exclusively to the specialized trade. However, you are welcome to visit our retailer/store locator, where you can find the nearest retailer in your area. You are also welcome to contact us directly, we have many tips where you can find the largest selection of our snacks.
